Breaking the Silence: Anxiety Depression Trauma

Overview

In Breaking the Silence, Bokali Chishi Mughavi shares her deeply personal journey through years of emotional and psychological struggles, after she won the battle that touched her family and countless others in her home state of Nagaland, India. When the author read World Health Organisation report that ""one in four people globally lives with a mental health condition"" it was a shocking and sobering revelation-one that fuelled her determination to understand and confront these challenges. This book is a story of survival and a powerful call to action as Bokali explores conditions such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, exposing the silent suffering of stigmatized souls and the isolation that grips their families. Yet, this isn't a book about despair; it is a beacon of hope as the author highlights modern treatments and counselling, but what truly sets Bokali's story apart is her unshakable faith in God.With a deep love for the people of Nagaland and further afield to see them fulfil their God-given potential, Bokali's work shines as a guiding light. Her approachable nature and inspirational presence have made her a cherished voice in ministry and education. Through her challenging journey, God brought healing and renewal to her. Now, Bokali shares a powerful message of hope and revelation, reminding readers what God has done for her, He can do for anyone walking a similar path. Breaking the Silence both inspires and informs, showcasing the transformative power of faith.
