In 1996, she went to work for the newly consolidated Santa Cruz 911 Center. She has worked as a dispatcher, training officer, lead dispatcher, shift supervisor, operations supervisor and training supervisor. Rosanna is a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (CA POST) Master Instructor and has participated in numerous committees and workshops to improve the training of public safety dispatchers statewide. She has made a number of presentations for organizations throughout the state and nation. She currently serves as a Training Officer for the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (CA POST) and is the first dispatcher to do so.
