Overview"""Braveling Saves A Snow Leopard"" is the second of five books in The Tingalings series. It is an inspiring picture book and rhyming story including vibrant, fun and engaging illustrations. It is colour printed to the highest quality on coated recycled paper. Five loveable creatures from Jupiter, an exciting climate adventure, snow leopard rescue, fun facts and simple climate solutions for little ones. The perfect way for parents to raise climate awareness in an appropriate way. All author profits are used to fund extra-curricular activities for children living in impoverished areas (www.mabelsenterprise.com). The Tingalings love mountain adventures. When whizzing down the mountain on their super cool snow rockets, Braveling crashes and splats into the dirt. The mountain snow has melted away. Immediately, the Tingalings think of the snow leopards who rely on snow to survive. They use their magic powers to invite their shy friends to live with them in their den. Bumbling wonders what caused the snow to melt and realises that, just like yummy hot chocolate, heat causes things to melt away. What more, some factories spew out bad fumes that can cause the air to heat up. So, the Tingalings ask Earthlings not to waste power made in these factories. Earthlings respond, the snowy mountains return and the snow leopards go home to live happily. Fun facts are provided on mountains and snow leopards, including a map of the world showing where our shy friends live. A must have for all inquisitive children! -- Mabel's Enterprise" Full Product DetailsAuthor: Matthew Henderson , Mabel's EnterprisePublisher: Mabel's Enterprise Imprint: Mabel's Enterprise Dimensions: Width: 21.50cm , Height: 0.50cm , Length: 27.80cm Weight: 0.192kg ISBN: 9781838406004ISBN 10: 183840600 Pages: 36 Publication Date: 15 April 2021 Recommended Age: From 3 to 6 years Audience: Children/juvenile , Children / Juvenile Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Out of stock ![]() The supplier is temporarily out of stock of this item. Mabel is 91 years old. No stranger to adversity, she suffered poverty and abuse as a child during World War II. She lost her husband and sole life partner at 56 and successfully battled cancer at 88. With the kindest heart, she is passionate about equal opportunities for all children. Mabel believes the key to tackling the world's most serious issues (e.g. climate change, poverty and social injustice) is to empower and inspire children to make the world a better place. Mabel has teamed up with Grandson Matt, devoted Dad of three, who has left corporate life behind to invest his time and money in this ambitious project. Mabel and Matt channel all profits from the sale of Tingalings products (currently books and organic clothes) into Mabel's Fund to finance inspiring extra-curricular activities for children attending schools located in areas of high child poverty. They guarantee customers at least £1.50 from all book sales will be channelled to Mabel's Fund, after applying retailer discount. Their first partner school, Washwood Heath Academy, is located in a Birmingham ward with 57% child poverty. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
