She is the Artistic Director and Conductor of Cor Cymry Gogledd America, the North American Welsh Choir, which she founded in 1998, and has toured Argentina, New Zealand and Wales with them. She has conducted at festivals around the world and has also released several CDs as a mezzo-soprano. She is the recipient of the prestigious Welsh Heritage Medallion from the National Welsh-American Foundation, the Robert Morris Award from the Welsh Society of Philadelphia and was honoured to be the 'Leader of Welsh People from Overseas' at the National Eisteddfod of Wales in her hometown of Llanelli in 2000.
