OverviewA book devoted to the renowned artist, psychoanalyst and philosopher a pioneer of the concept of matrix space Bracha Lichtenberg Ettinger (born 23 March 1948) is an Israeli French artist, writer, psychoanalyst and philosopher based in France. Born in Mandatory Palestine, she lives and works in Paris. The Israeli-French-British painter, philosopher and psychoanalyst Bracha Lichtenberg-Ettinger, the originator of the concept of matrix space, was exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in 2024. Several of her works have now been added to the permanent exhibition. This catalogue brings together the works in the exhibition. The book includes the introduction by Marie Siguier, Laure Chauvelot, and Laetitia Pesenti, with acknowledgments to Alicia Knock, who co-curated the show, and to Christine Macel, who initiated the donation and exhibition. The book features images and installation views of the show, as well as documents concerning Bracha's various projects with Centre Pompidou spanning almost 40 years. A selection of essays by distinguished writers are complemented by images of Bracha's works throughout.
