This book is an autobiographical fiction inspired by my life. While the story is fictionalized, its roots are deeply personal. The characters' names are names that have been used throughout my family's history, honoring the lineage, stories, and connections that shaped who I am. This is also a story of womanhood and connection-of the strength we carry through generations, friendships, and relationships formed by fate. It speaks not only to women's relationships, but to the relationships we make throughout our lives, and how the bonds we inherit, choose, and unexpectedly encounter shape us in powerful and lasting ways. I am a passionate and adventurous, second-time author from a small town just outside of Denver, Colorado. I spend my time surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends, whose presence and support continually inspire my work. My roots have greatly influenced my storytelling and writing style, and my life experiences fuel my desire to write with honesty and heart. I find inspiration through travel, immersing myself in diverse cultures and landscapes. Alongside my literary pursuits, I am an entrepreneur working hand in hand with my partner to build a business we have been developing over the past two years-one that supports mental health and wellness. I also work full time in Family Services, a calling that feeds my soul and reinforces my belief in healing, connection, and growth. Becoming a published author has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl. The journey to bring this book to life has been deeply cathartic in ways I never imagined possible. This book represents not only a milestone, but the beginning of my story-one I am finally ready to share.
