Professor Joan Kikel Danylak lives in New York. She was awarded her BA by the University of Arizona. She was awarded her MA by the prestigious World Academy of Letters. She was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by The New Mirage Academy - East, Summa Cum Laude. She is Professor Emeritus of the Academy. She is also Editor Emeritus of the Forrest Hills Review. Her work has been widely published. She was given the New Mirage Award for Poetry for 2009.
