Overview

Boris the Cat is the hilarious, yet profound story of one feline's escape from deep subjugation and enslavement in a human world blind to his superiority. Boris finds his depth, his omniscience of all that's been, and with it power -- and peace. This is Pilgrim's Progress spoofed. The Pilgrim is Boris, angry yet seer wise, and we are his befuddled foes revealed.

Author Information

Kevin Brennan and Timothy McKee, reminiscent of John Lennon and Paul McCartney in more than their names, have collaborated in the creation of an outrageous and humorous rant against the plight of the truly masculine soul in 21st century America where men subsist, enslaved by harsh femininity and daily feedings. They are Boris their cat, who triumphs over both the dominating mother, Shrike, and the irresistible and lusty Natasha. Members of the infamous Class of 1969, Brennan and McKee met in junior high in upstate New York where McKee, an unacclaimed but truly exceptional guitarist, still lives with his wife. Brennan, a shrink-turned-computer geek, resides with his wife in Massachusetts.
