Author Information

John Crick was born and grew up in Bury, Lancashire (before Greater Manchester had been conceived), and then in Accrington.  Even after decades away from the North, he still sees himself as a Northerner. He came to poetry relatively late, and puts this down to the elitist nature of the poetry world in his early days at school and college. ""Borderlands"" is his first collection of poems after decades of retirement from teaching in schools, colleges, adult education and the Open University.
