Overview

This book is a sequel to my first book ""Bootle Born and Bred"" which is an account of my early years growing up in the working-class areas of that special town. It continues my story of living and working on Merseyside in the 1970s and 80s and has been written principally for my family and friends but may be of interest to those who also lived through those interesting and challenging decades. It is not a novel and is structured around themes such as work, entertainment and travel and is a personal account of my life at that time but I was surprised at the interest shown in my first book and if you choose to read this then I hope it brings back some happy memories. Please leave a review as it is of interest to me to know who has read my book and I promise not to be upset if your review is less than favourable!
