Overview

Book 1: HIS WORKS - Adventure Series In His Works (Book 1 of the Adventure Series), our covenant group examines five essential truths about God's work on our behalf (God is my...) and five corresponding truths about our identity in Christ (In Christ, I am...). Together, these ten truths launch us on a journey of discovering the awesome reality of God. Scripture is a spiritual telescope through which we look more deeply into the nature of God. Knowing God involves understanding what He has revealed about Himself-and what He has revealed to be true of all who are in Christ. As we come to know Him more deeply, our everyday, routine, and ordinary lives take on eternal significance. Life becomes integrated rather than compartmentalized, connected rather than isolated, engaged rather than disengaged. The spiritual skill developed in this book is an Appointment with God (AWG). Book 1: HIS WORKS is the first of the 3-Book Adventure Series. The Covenant Group Discipleship Series include the Adventure Series (HIS WORKS, HIS IMAGE, and HIS HEART), the Challenge Series (HIS WAYS, HIS CALLING, and HIS COMMISSION), and two (2) companion books (HIS GLORY and HIS NATURE).
