Author Information

Troy M. Williams, Ph.D., is a community-based researcher and evaluator with over ten years of experience in entrepreneurship, community engagement, and public health. He has worked with multiple agencies across the United States interested in addressing systemic challenges, co creating responses with community members, and conducting in-depth program evaluations. Currently, he serves as the Chief Impact Officer at the Greater Sacramento Urban League, where he provides strategic leadership, management, and guidance on initiatives and impact efforts through program evaluation, community engagement, and grantmaking. Joshua A. Wright, B.A., is a health educator that started his career working in pre-college enrichment programs. He feels fortunate that his mother provided many extracurricular activities for him as a youth like summer camps, sports, playing instruments and acting. This foundation encouraged him to work as a tutor, program planning specialist, and education coordinator until he was offered an opportunity to promote health awareness on a cancer disparities team. With a path in healthcare unfolding in front of him, Joshua wants to become a physician's assistant. While working and taking classes, Joshua promotes healthy living while serving his community with fellow fraternity brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
