"""A charming wordless story. ... Sanborn's cartooning is full of ... polish and physical comedy ... rapid-fire gags, which give the animals' back-and-forth games the feel of classic cartoon battles between the likes of Tom and Jerry or Sylvester and Tweety. It's all in good fun."" - Publisher's Weekly ""The kids love telling the story....I am sold. Rather than sitting passively and listening to the book, they get involved and want to be the one to tell the story....We have had quite a few very imaginative versions, and the older ones look for details that allow them to spin the story towards different scenarios....[kids] get quite excited about telling the story."" - Florida Kayaker, HALL OF FAME TOP 10 REVIEWER ""The soft, muted colors are simple, yet alluring, and bear's expressions aptly portray a range of emotions from puzzlement to mirth to mischief. ... kids will delight in polar bear's and penguins' antics and be charmed by this appealing story."" - Author Natasha Yim"
