Author Information

Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner, Myotherapist, Founder of Tiny House Ayurveda health clinic and online courses. Lover of stand up paddle boarding, bike riding, re-bounding, Yoga and whole-food cooking. Lesley is an Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner trained in Australia for three years with master Ashtavaidyan A.N. Narayanan Nambi MD (Ayu) Kerala India, Ray Noronha, Dr Vishnu Pillai and Dr Bosco Paul. Her Myotherapy practice merges Ayurvedic Marma points with trigger points and Cranial-Sacral work with Nadi in an elegant solution for relieving pain and stress, while building resilience simultaneously. Lesley learnt languages and kitchen pharmacy from immersion into many Asian cultures and traditions while living in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and India. She's lived in cities, regional and rural towns in Australia, which added invaluable experience about human behaviour and a variety of health conditions. With a caring practical approach over ten years, Lesley has helped people from as young as two to ninety three years of age with a broad range of health conditions. From digestive issues and acne, to insomnia and Parkinson's disease, Lesley works with the human body's natural ability to heal deeply and sustainably. Since 2001 Lesley has co-authored a cook book (out of print), held workshops in Ayurvedic Theory, Cooking and Massage, completed trainings in Health Coaching and Aged Care, consulted and cooked for commercial kitchens and events and established two health clinics in Australia. She's been a rural fire fighter and created two start ups, which she let go to streamline their mission through the central hub of Tiny House Ayurveda. Lesley created and co-hosts the Radical Ayurveda Podcast. Lesley's future projects include more involvement in the Tiny House movement and off-grid living, and supporting her peers in the health sector with stress and pain relief through hands on therapy.
