Having endured years of unspeakable horrors and abuse, the two women eventually found the strength, through their friendship, to escape and begin to rebuild their lives. Tim Tate is a best-selling author, investigative journalist and multiple award-winning documentary film-maker. He has published 16 works of non-fiction, including the internationally best-selling Slave Girl (John Blake, 2009), which told the story of a young British woman sex-trafficked to Holland's prostitution industry.
