They weren't there to see the Architect sitting at a celestial drafting table, sketching the lines of gravity, the curve of a human eyelash, and the inevitable decay of a cooling planet. This is not a story about religion. It is a story about Erosion. Imagine a perfect statue made of marble. Over ten thousand years, the wind and the rain round the edges, the salt air pits the surface, and eventually, the statue looks nothing like the original design. That is history. That is the ""Masterverse."" We are living in the pits and the cracks of a divine sculpture that has been out in the rain for too long. In these pages, you will walk with Pantokael. He isn't a god, and he isn't exactly an angel at least, not the kind you see on a Christmas card. He is the First. The Prototype. The Being who was too detailed to be left in the Heavens and too ""Heavy"" to be understood by the humans. He is joined by two others who represent the Great Paradox: Lucifer: The Rebel who thinks the ""Erosion"" is a hilarious joke he helped write. Azaziel: The Messenger who is desperately trying to fix the plumbing of a house that is currently on fire. They have watched you. They watched you discover fire, they watched you split the atom, and they are currently watching you stare at your smartphone while the world burns. They have seen it all, and they are tired.
