Overview

Kelly is a retired elementary school teacher. She lives with her husband, golden retriever, and orange cat. Her debut book is ""Mae's Magical Hats."" ""Blue Sky Day"" is her second children's book. She writes in a little pink house in her backyard in Central Indiana with her dog Finn by her side. Keara Garnett was born in Chicago, Illinois. Her first art teacher, Grandma Bunny, inspired her love for art. Keara carried that love for art throughout her life. At The Ohio State University Keara studied visual arts and graduated with a degree in early childhood education.
