Anna Carner has a storied past as one of the first women paramedics in Florida. She lived on a sailboat, home-schooled her son, scuba dived, and explored the Bahamas, while tending to medical emergencies in the remote outer islands. When Anna, her husband Pino, and a menagerie of animals moved to the community of nature-loving enthusiasts in Tewksbury, New Jersey, Anna's passions turned to raising alpacas and competitive endurance trail riding.Blossom, the wild fawn Anna rescued, a real-life Bambi became a star in National Geographic's ""The Private Life of Deer"" documentary. Years later she completed Blossom, The Wild Ambassador of Tewksbury. She and her husband now live on a farm in The Plains, Virginia.
