Author Information

Anne is a leader, writer, speaker, wife, and mother of four wonderful children. She teaches 8th grade English, is on the Bloom Leadership team for Stadia, and leads disciples who make disciples at One Life Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Anne was born in the Philippines, to missionary parents, but mainly grew up in Ohio. She met her husband, Dave, in college and the rest is history. In 2004, they moved across the country, far from family and friends, to ""parachute plant"" a church in Charlotte, NC. Kinetic Church was birthed from that great leap of faith and they have been serving there ever since. In 2013, the church's name was changed to One Life Church. Church planting has been a wild, scary, lonely, blessed, adventure-filled, roller-coaster journey leading to a more trusting walk with Christ. In the church planting world, pastor's wives are often overlooked, untitled and underpaid. Yet they remain a vital part of their church's and spouse's ministry. Church planting can be a lonely journey for the pastor's wife, especially at first when she hasn't made many friends yet. Anne knows this struggle because she has traveled through that lonely wilderness as well. Anne's passion is to equip planting spouses with resources that encourage them on their journey.
