Author Information

KEN WHARTON is a former soldier who served five years in an Infantry unit, including two tours of Northern Ireland during the Troubles. His first book on Northern Ireland, A Long Long War: Voices From the British Army in Northern Ireland 1969–98 was published in 2008, and he has also written The Bloodiest Year 1972 for The History Press. He lives in North Yorkshire.
