Overview

Late one night in the middle of their 5th year in at a private Boarding School, 16-year olds Lizzie, Sophie and Stacey realise they have stayed out past their curfew and rush through the menacingly dark woods to get home. But upon taking a wrong turning they end up lost, and unexpectedly witness a horrific murder taking place. Stunned and frightened almost beyond belief, they eventually managed to return to the school without getting into any trouble. The next morning the girls meet up and decide never to reveal what they saw. But all too soon the frightening news of the murder of one of their classmates; Gina Rosendale - the star of the school's forthcoming musical production - becomes headline news, and the police are combing the school desperately asking for any witnesses to the attack. The girls are too afraid to step forward and admit what they saw when they know they'd get into huge trouble for being there in the first place. But when the school nurse is also found brutally murdered and three of them receive a scarily threatening letter, the girls must make the right choice and fast, before the killer strikes again...
