Blood Rising lured me in immediately with its lovable cast of characters and well-developed storyline. Cat Temple and Matt Brenner's chemistry is unstoppable. Their mutual love and respect for one another is simply priceless. The authors have really created a unique and refreshing take on vampire lore. I've never read a story that so brilliantly combines pure romance with heart-pumping erotica. This novel left me breathless and wanting more. I'm really looking forward to their next book, Blood Emerald. I highly recommend reading Blood Rising! - AMD What a talented writer! Pacing, description and emotions are thoroughly explored. The underworld of vampires and their lifestyle is exposed as in no vampire book I have seen before, and I've seen most. There is mystery entwined with the plot. Whodunit? and why? are big questions.
