Overview

Nothing in Hellen's old, pampered life ever prepared her for the harsh reality of winter in an abandoned building. Sure, there's a fireplace, and lots of dead limbs she can drag back home, but burning every stick on the forest floor isn't going to warm that cold, cold stone. She's had to learn about hunting and survival. Since the valet smuggled her an army rifle, she's learned a lot about guns, too. Like how she has a knack for shooting. But blood soaks the ground in Great Hand, and Hellen needs to do something about the monster on the throne. She can't let the lone rebel, Thorn, waste all his passion sabotaging barracks air coolers.
