Author Information

Delecia Holt studied applied research and statistical analysis at San Diego State University. She ran for the US House of Representatives. Has been a small business owner since age twenty-one. Having proudly served as juror and jury foreman on many cases in the past, she understands the legal system well. Especially, after falling victim to prosecutorial misconduct at the hands of the Orange County, California District Attorneys office in 2008 and again in 2010. Prosecutorial misconduct has been found to be so pervasive in thousands of cases that CA Law AB-1909 had to be passed to provide people like you and me recourse against corrupt law enforcement personnel. Delecia is sharing these True Crime cases so that the general public can get a behind the scenes glimpse of our legal system that is rarely ever seen, and often kept from the jury. You can now witness first hand the good, the bad and the ugly of our legal systems and go down into the belly of a corrupt legal machine. You will be given nothing but the facts and can decide for yourself if justice was done in these cases. She has included the Bill of Rights, Legal resources and the findings of Harvard Law School's Fair Punishment Project, because the Fair Punishment Project uses legal research and educational initiatives to ensure that the U.S. justice system is fair and accountable. As a joint initiative of Harvard Law School's Charles Hamilton Houston Institute and its Criminal Justice Institute... they have uncovered gross injustices resulting from deliberate and intentional prosecutorial misconduct, ineffective defense lawyers, and racial biases which will illuminate the laws that result in excessive punishment. Evil can only prevail if good men and women sit by and do nothing to stop it. Our children and grandchildren will look us in the eye one day, and ask us; what did we do to stop people from being victimized by corrupt members of law enforcement. What will your answer be; to your child? Delecia believes that if we work together every defendant can receive justice and a fair trial. We owe our children that.
