Blessed Is the Nation helps us remember where we as a nation came from and shines light on where we are headed. We can find the truth about ourselves by remembering who we are and what we stand for. We can defend that truth by using the tools we already have: the Word of God, common sense and our own national heritage. Author Daniel Harms and his father Pastor Fred Harms have noticed that many modern Christians have been misguided or even blinded by the lies of the media, political and class warfare, secular humanism and political correctness, and sometimes even a formal education. Our intentions are good, but it has sometimes been difficult for us to see the big picture. Blessed Is the Nation brings that big picture into focus for all Christians by resorting to Biblical teachings. By defending conservatism and showing its roots in the Word of God, by stressing the positive impact of individual spiritual growth on society, and by showing the risks to freedom and liberty in our future, the authors show us that we must continue to grow spiritually in order for there to be hope for the future of our society.
