Author Information

Michael Sherlock was born and raised in Sydney Australia, but spent many years in Tasmania, a small island to the south of Australia's mainland. He studied social anthropology and sociology at the University of Tasmania and became fascinated in the myths of our ancient ancestors. This fascination led him to study comparative mythology outside of the confining walls of institutional education, which in turn, led him to investigate the true origins of the Bible. According to Sherlock, Western society has been built upon this collection of books that contain primitive superstition, misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia, rape, infanticide and a whole host of other arcane and fictitious atrocities, which has spawned much of the insanity underscoring the west. From his investigations into the history of the Church and the entire religion of Christianity, he has come to the temporary conclusion that, worse than the insane fictions contained within these ancient manuscripts, lies a belief system which has put a large portion of our species to sleep within the comfort of ill-gotten and now thoroughly debunked beliefs. Sherlock's aim is to expose lies, frauds and forgeries wherever he finds them, whether they be religious, political or otherwise. Sherlock says, before we can clear a path to finding truth, whatever that may be, we must first neutralize the filth which has infected the minds of so many. The only way to do this, in my opinion, is to expose errant beliefs and also, examine how our beliefs affect our perceptions of the world around us and further, how these beliefs work to defend themselves against onslaughts of new and solid evidences which come into conflict with them.
