Overview

"This 11th edition of ""Statutes on Employment Law"" includes all legislation relevant for degree and other courses. The main changes relate to European Union activity, and this edition includes two directives on equal treatment in employment and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. The ""Acquired Rights"" Directive of 1977 as amended in 1998 has been consolidated without any changes of substance and the Working Time Directive has been amended. The regulations introducing the ACAS arbitration scheme for unfair dismissal have been added. There have also been a number of minor amendments to statutes and regulations, all of which have been included."
