OverviewBlackstone's Police Investigators' Mock Examination Paper 2014 ensures that National Investigators' Exam (NIE) candidates are fully prepared for their multiple-choice examination. Designed to mirror the format of the actual exam, there is an 80 question mock exam booklet and answer sheet, helping candidates to familiarize themselves with both the format and the two hour exam time limit. There is a second booklet containing the answers with explanations and references, as well as a detailed marking matrix. The Mock Examination Paper gives candidates the opportunity to test their knowledge of the content of the Blackstone's Police Investigators' Manual 2014, with space for them to write their answers. The Answer Booklet contains the answers and marking matrices, giving candidates a mark for the full examination and individual marks for their knowledge of the four subject areas: Evidence; Property Offences; Assaults, Drugs, Firearms and Gun Crime; and Sexual Offences. The Answer Booklet includes an explanation about how to calculate the percentage score, as well as full explanations and references to the Blackstone's Police Investigators' Manual 2014. The Investigators' Mock Examination has been completely updated for 2014 with new questions on legislative changes such as the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012, the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, the Criminal Procedure Rules 2012, the Terrorism Act 2000, as well as revised PACE Codes C and G.
