This fully revised and updated edition of Blackstone's Police Investigators' Mock Examination Paper ensures that National Investigators' Exam (NIE) candidates are fully prepared for their multiple-choice examination. The book is designed in an exam format, so candidates can practice taking the whole exam in two hours. Like the actual exam, the book is presented on A4 and is split into two sections, one containing the 80 question mock exam and answer sheet and the second containing the answers and detailed marking matrix with explanations and references. The Mock Examination Paper gives candidates the opportunity to test their knowledge of the content of the Blackstone's Police Investigators' Manual 2011, with space for them to write their answers. Author Information
Dave Pinfield is a Police Training Consultant. Prior to this, he was a serving officer with West Midlands Police for 22 years. He has worked in CID and Plain Clothes vice operationally and was responsible for the force implementation of the ICIDP, as well as being a qualified police trainer and training development officer at the Detective Training School. Mr. Pinfield holds a Certificate of Education from Christ Church College and is a Centrex (now NPIA) trained Multiple Choice question writer. He has been involved in the National Investigators' Examination since January 2002 and is the NIE force representative.
