Dave Pinfield is a serving officer with West Midlands Police and has been a police officer for 21 years. He has worked in CID and Plain Clothes vice operationally and is currently the Detective Sergeant Team Leader with responsibility for the force with regards to the ICIDP and IMSC courses at the Detective Training School. He was responsible for the force implementation of the ICIDP and is a qualified police trainer and training development officer at the Detective Training School. Mr. Pinfield holds a Certificate of Education from Christ Church College and is a Centrex (now NPIA) trained Multiple Choice question writer. He has been involved in the National Investigators' Examination since January 2002 and is the NIE force representative.
