Author Information

Robert H. Nelson was a professor in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland until his untimely death in December 2018, after he wrote the last chapters of BLACK CARBON. Before his years at UMd, he was an economic analyst in the U.S. Department of the Interior. This is his 10th book; he also wrote for The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and other publications.
