"In 1990-92, Adams impressed with the vast pool of Black talent in the media, began to compile a listing for her publication, Black Authors and Published Writers Directory (BAPWD). Over 1,500 Black authors, publishers, producers, distributors, song, film, and playwrights, agents, librarians, talk show hosts, consultants, advertising agents and other marketing resources were included in the book. In 2003, Adams created and founded BAPWD.com the official website for the annual Black Authors & Published Writers Directory. Like the book, the website is a ""must"" for anyone interested in networking with major Black media professionals and services."
