"Teesha Hadra, the daughter of Jamaican parents, has a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. She practiced law for nearly seven years before leaving to begin full time ministry in 2013 at Buckhead Church, an urban campus of North Point Community Church in Atlanta. In 2016, she began working on an MDiv at Fuller Theological Seminary where she also works on a grant project involving innovation and vocation. John Hambrick is ordained in the PC(USA) denomination. He earned a BA degree at Pepperdine University and completed MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and a doctorate degree from Columbia Seminary. Since 2004, he has served at Buckhead Church, the urban campus of North Point Ministries where he met and began to work with coauthor Teesha Hadra. Janina Edwards, a graduate of New York University's Tisch Schools of the Arts, recorded her first audiobook in 1987. She was born in Chicago, soaked in New York City's African and West Indian accents for 11 years, and for the past twenty years has swum in the swagger of the south (Atlanta, Georgia). As a result, she excels in portraying authentic characters and voices the African Diaspora. Her 2018 audiobook, The Wedding Date, is an AudioFile Earphones Award winner, and Voice of Freedom (2016, Dreamscape) was an Audie Award finalist. In addition to narrating audiobooks, she is a certified yoga teacher, sings kirtan, and plays the violin. Since recording his first book for the Kansas Audio Reader Network in 1985, Tom Parks has enjoyed giving voice to stories. He has been nominated for Audie Awards and has received several AudioFile Earphones Awards, and reviewers have described his performances as ""conversational,"" ""energetic,"" ""earnest,"" ""sincere,"" and as having a certain ""gravity."" Tom is also an active workshop leader and in-demand speaker for corporations and is a featured lecturer for Carnival Cruise Lines. On the side, Tom gigs as a drummer who performs regularly on the Midwest musical theater circuit."
