When you combine this with bright, bold illustrations, a useful glossary and a comprehensive list of resources to continue research, this book is a powerful, unforgettable educational and self development tool for everyone - The Abundant Word Through reading this book, I was opened up to the stories of British Heroes who, regardless of the obstacles in their way, shaped society for the better. I found myself constantly thinking, why had I never heard of Queen Philippa? Of Sislin Fay Allen? Where was the Windrush Generation in my history lessons?
