Dr. Linda Amos started writing poems as a teenager and started writing essays and short stories a couple of years later. Linda's written poems that encourage, share, and explain. Her poems are about subjects such as communication, growth, courage, love, and compromise.Linda's a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She received many academic, sorority, and workplace awards while honing her writing skills. Linda's enjoyed a successful corporate career in which she strengthened her writing skills working in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as a research chemist, science catalog writer, science writer, and medical writer.Linda has a B.S. degree in chemistry from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, MS, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Princeton University in Princeton, NJ. When she's not writing, Linda enjoys reading about investments, nutrition, and health; cooking healthy food; and talking with family and friends, especially while walking.
