Overview

This is a short book that contains personal poetry and prose, all written and accumulated throughout the span of three years before publish date. There are titled sections in which I've categorized poems that are of the same nature so that you, the reader, may browse through each more smoothly. Themes included are poems about love, nature, surreal illusions, melancholic and raw prose as well as a few anti-war poems. Lastly, from my heart to yours, thank you for choosing to read my book.

Author Information

Gael has been an avid reader and writer early on as a student and is still going strong in his love for books and writing poetry. He lives with his cat who keeps him on track so you can be sure to catch a new book sooner rather than later. When he is not writing he enjoys spending time with his family, getting lost in other creative mediums, camping, outdoor cleanups, and country dancing at his local dancehall. Oftentimes his mental health struggles overshadow all that he loves and cares for and in turn his ability to live and do all that he wishes to do, in spite of that he pushes forward and finds comfort and love in all the unexpected and expected places. In sharing his writing he hopes that in his poems someone will find a place of hope, of relativity, of comfort, or simply enjoy the reading of his book.
