Overview

Rebecca Farnsworth, or Birdy, as she is known, wakes up to find she is bound, gagged, and chained to the floor of a swaying wagon, headed to Oregon. Suffering from amnesia after her abductor struck her on the head and knocked her out, she has no memory of who she is or where she comes from-She can't even remember God. But when Birdy's kidnapper suddenly dies, she finds a clue in his wallet, revealing her hometown is in Texas. With the help of a trail hand, Ruben Durst, Birdy embarks on an adventure to get back to Texas, all the while praying her memory comes back. Along the way, they try to uncover who is behind a trafficking ring, taking girls and young women overseas. When Birdy's memory of God returns, she must rely on Him to stay alive and help to make the impossible, possible.
