Brina Kessel is Professor of Zoology and Curator of the Terrestrial Vertebrate Collections at the University of Alaska Museum.  She has authored a number of scientific papers and several regional monographs on Alaska birds, including Status and Distribution of Alaska Birds with Daniel D. Gibson.
