Dr. Marty Becker, America's Veterinarian has been the popular contributor to ABC-TV's Good Morning America for 10 years, and is the resident veterinarian on The Dr. Oz Show. He writes a Universal Press Syndicated column with Gina Spadafori, Pet Connection; is a contributor to Parade Magazine, and was voted companion animal Veterinarian of the year. He is also co-author of the fastest-selling pet book in history, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul. Dr. Becker still enjoys his work as a practicing veterinarian, at the North Idaho Animal Hospital. Brian L. Speer, DVM, is the owner and director of the Medical Center for Birds in Oakley, California, and an active member in and former president of the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Kim Campbell Thornton has been writing about animals since 1985 and is a recipient of multiple awards from the Cat Writers Association, Dog Writers Association of America, and American Society of Journalists and Authors. Tanya Eby is a novelist and an audiobook narrator who has earned several AudioFile Earphones Awards and been nominated for the Audie Award. She has a BA degree in English language and literature and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine.
