Overview

Recently, much attention has been focused on the actinomycetes as sources of novel, bioactive compounds. The application of biochemical and molecular biological techniques to microbial systematics has provided insights that have drastically altered traditional taxonomic concepts. This book ""Bioprospecting of Actinomycetes and its approaches"" reviews the current research going in the field of Actinomycetes diversity, their novel compound and their use. The book will be a valuable reference to all those who work with actinomycetes and try to unravel their nature.
