Reviews

It should find a place on all library shelves and will no doubt be a routine reference text for specialists in this field. (Journal of Medicinial Chemistry, August 10, 2006) ...an interesting and valuable resource for those who wish to learn more about the progress and challenges that face the emerging field of bioorganometallic chemistry. (Journal of the American Chemical Society, August 2, 2006) ...an excellent source of information on a rapidly developing field. It is therefore highly recommended to all researchers active in or interested in this area. (Angewandte Chemie International Edition) In essence the book is aimed at biochemists and chemists. The former will find many of the articles in the core of the text, detailing the use of organometallics as bioprobes, to be highly informative, providing a useful historical background and a description of the current synergy between organometallic chemistry and bioscience.
