Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr Sebastien Durand is a doctor associated with the Centre de la main since 2015. He studied in Paris and obtained his PhD in medicine in 2004, he specialized in Orthopaedics and Traumatology surgery in 2006 and hand surgery in 2007. He also specializes in surgery paralysis focusing particularly on brachial plexus for which he received a bursary from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital de Stanmore (UK). He is a member of the societe francaise de chirurgie de la main and a member of the societe francaise de Biomecanique .From 2009 to 2015, he participated in the creation of the SOS Main du Pays d'Aix center which is one of the first SOS Main centers in France.With a PhD in biomechanics, he has also been named coordinator of the research in hand surgery in the CHUV and the head of prosthetic surgery of the hand and wrist.
