This book is a reference to aid the Congolese people. It contains more than 250,000 Congolese names given in 1950 and earlier, together with the year and place of birth. These names were gleaned from the approximately 2.5 million names on the lists of registered voters compiled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) for the 2006 presidential election and then made available on the internet.
