Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMike McNair received a B.S. degree in English Education from Oakland City University and a M.S. degree in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University. His forty years in education include thirty years as a school guidance counselor. He wrote Mike's World humor column for nine years and is a field editor for Our Wisconsin Magazine. Billy Beechum and the Hooticat's Secret is the first book in the Billy Beechum trilogy. Billy Beechum and the Redheaded Bully and Billy Beechum and Paul Revere's Surprise complete the series. His other books include A Distant Summer, a coming-of-age novel; Tales from Mike's World, a humor book; and Sammy the Shivering Snowblower, a picture book about a snowblower that hates cold weather. Mike and his wife Nancy live in Wisconsin. Matthew Hughes is a fine arts graduate of California State University at Long Beach and makes his home in Lakewood, California where he works as a freelance illustrator and art instructor. He has worked as a freelance illustrator on projects ranging from info-graphics and T-shirt designs to educational apps, and print materials for elementary schools and churches.
