5.0 out of 5 stars Complete, Well-organized Biking Guide with Photos! Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2024 I was intrigued. I love to ride bikes, and the premise of this book, Biking San Francisco, sounded wonderful. True confession-I used to be an elementary school principal and I have a thing for getting kids outside in the fresh air. Making sure they are active. Limiting the time they spend in front of the TV or their computers. It's all good-indoor time-but being outside riding your bike is the best-especially if you can use that bike to explore new worlds. This book is a great concept and well executed. With photos and clear instructions and helpful hints (such as where the restrooms and concession stands are), a parent can read through it with their child as a kind of primer for the visit. For me, biking through this fabulous park sounded great and for most kids-the idea of seeing bison close up or riding on a carousel would be enough to entice me to ride along to see the sights. Although this book is designed as a useful tool for parents for a kid bike adventure, I have to say anyone of any age would appreciate the helpful hints provided. 5 stars 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Guide Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2024This is a great guide for biking in San Francisco. Good book to have when you're biking with your kid and I thought it was very informative. Loved the pictures and how interactive the book was. Highly recommend if you're going biking in this area.
