Author and outdoorsman Kevin Martin has been a wooden boat builder for over thirty years, served on his town's Conservation Commission and the Lamprey River Advisory Committee. He lives with his wife Kim on the banks of the Lamprey River and often takes his eight grandchildren with him into the woods to visit Big Trees.
