KimMia Felder wrote Big Sister Blues to share her struggles of adjusting to her younger sibling. For the first few years of KimMia's life she was the center of attention, but the birth of her younger sibling shifted the attention away from KimMia independently, and onto KimMia and her little sister Apple.In this story KimMia experiences a series of emotions but manages to conquer her selfish ways. KimMia is a talented teenager that enjoys the arts. Her favorite pastimes include writing, singing, dancing, cheering and listening to music. She has written several colorful stories about her life experiences since primary school and finally decided to share one of her literary works with the world. KimMia has also sang in various choirs since the age of three, ranging from her church choir, school choir and most recently the world-renowned Detroit Youth Choir simultaneously. In addition to writing more books she has future aspirations of pursuing a career in music. Alicen Felder is the younger sister of KimMia Felder. She is the author of Say A Little Prayer, an orator, actress and athlete. She performs across the nation delivering motivation messages. Dr. Kelli Felder is the proud mother of KimMia and Alicen. She is an educator with a passion for the arts who has written and directed stage productions for decades. Dr. Felder supports and encourages her children in pursuing all of their dreams and passions.
