Data is fact which can be recorded and when it is used in some context then it is known as information. In computer word data is transmissible and storable information which can be collected and analyzed. Generally, we refer it in tabular form represented in row and column. Significant of data was always there even before the invention of computer in the form of counting, trades, calendars, astrology, taxes etc. When acquired data is sorted, organized and interpreted then it becomes the information.Prof. Shifra Baruchson, a well knowns academician of Bar Ilan University located in Israel considers the data as sensory stimuli which is recognized by our senses.
