Author Information
Elisa Bonilla is a Mexican educator and the director of institutional relations at the Fundación SM. She is a former teacher, researcher, and administrator at the Mexican Ministry of Education, where she encouraged the creation of school and classroom libraries in Mexican schools. She is a member of the OEI expert commission on reading and school libraries and IBBY's board of directors. She has published academic articles, educational materials, and research. Ramón Salaberria is a Spanish librarian. He has been a member of the editorial board of Educación y Biblioteca magazine since 1989. He has published an article on public and school libraries, as well as numerous articles in library magazines throughout Europe, the US, and Mexico.
