Author Information

Maria Angeles Gallego is researcher at the Instituto de Lenguas y Culturas del Mediterraneo y Oriente Proximo of the Spanish High Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) in Madrid. Her field of expertise is the history and culture of Jews in Islamic territories and, more specifically, medieval Judeo-Arabic. Previously, she has co-edited the bibliography Afghanistan (Brill, 2005) alongside Heather Bleaney and worked as indexer of the Index Islamicus.Heather Bleaney is Editor of the Index Islamicus which is compiled at the School of Oriental and African Studies Library, London. She was previously in charge of the Documentation Unit of the Centre for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, University of Durham, and has contributed to a number of publications on the modern Middle East. Pablo Garcia Suarez is a contributing editor of Index Islamicus and translator of modern Arabic literature and journalism
